BOOKING  CONDITIONS

Bath Parade Guides will provide a qualified Tourist Board Registered Blue Badge Guide.

All foreign language guides hold a Registered Tourist Board endorsement.

To make a Booking

Telephone or fax 01225 337111 to make a provisional reservation and a booking form/booking conditions will then be sent, faxed or e-mailed to you for completion and signature.

Confirmation of Booking

On receipt of the signed booking form, Bath Parade Guides will send a booking confirmation within fourteen working days to the Tour Operator at the address given on the booking form.  Please check the details carefully to ensure they are correct.  An invoice will follow in due course.

Walking Tours

In the interest of safety, the maximum number of people on a walking tour is 24 people to each Guide.  Each student group must be accompanied by a company appointed tutor or tour escort.

Coaches

All coaches provided for the tour are to have a safe seat with a safety belt for the Guide and a working microphone and PA system.  Should there not be a working microphone or PA system provided, Bath Parade Guides should be informed as soon as possible.  Under these circumstances Bath Parade Guides and/or the Guide has the right to cancel the tour and full cancellation charges will apply.

Amendments to Booking

Bath Parade Guides reserve the right to charge an administration fee of £10.00 for each amendment.  The client must confirm all amendments (including any additional charges/expenses due) in writing to Bath Parade Guides.

Cancellations

All cancellation must be in writing to the Bookings address or faxed to 01225 337111.  Cancellation charges are as follows:

More than 14 working days  -  no charge;   Between 5-13 working days  -  50% of fee;   5 days or less  -  100%.

In the event that a cancellation is made after receipt of monies, Bath Parade Guides will refund, based on the above cancellation charges, any monies due.  These cancellation charges are payable by Bath Parade Guides to the Tour Operator should, after confirmation of a booking Bath Parade Guides be unable to provide a Guide.

Payment Terms

It is a condition of Bath Parade Guides that payment terms must be agreed before written confirmation of the booking is given.  All payments must be made in GB£ and all cheques must be drawn on a British bank.  Any bank charges incurred must be paid by the client.

Bath Parade Guides must receive full payment as invoiced either by cheque (payable to Bath Parade Guides) or bank transfer at least 14 working days prior to commencement of the tour.  If full payment as invoiced is not received then Bath Parade Guides reserve the right to cancel the tour without notification and claim full monies and administration costs.

Payment on the Day

Subject to written agreement, payment on the day in cash and paid directly to the Guide may be made on condition that payment is made prior to commencement of the tour.  In the event of non-payment the Guide has the right to cancel the tour immediately and a full claim will be made to the Tour Operator together with administration charges incurred.  Where a group fails to turn up at the agreed meeting point and time, 100% cancellation charges will be made.

Credit Account

Companies wishing to apply for a credit account must submit their request in writing and a credit account application form will then be forwarded to them.  Non payment of an invoice within 30 days of the tour date will incur a 2.5% surcharge on the invoice value and may also result in the withdrawal of credit facilities.
